We use LDMS 9, SP3. Absolutely NONE of our client PC's are local (on the LAN). All our client PC's are remote and connect through our LANDesk Management Gateway Appliance.
I have made some changes to the settings to one of my agent configurations (I changed time intervals for inventory scans and vulnerability scans). I need to send the updated agent settings to some of the clients.
After making the agent configuration changes in the "Agent Configuration" panel, I click the "Schedule Update to Agent Settings" button which creates a scheduled task - a PUSH. However, all my clients connect through the Gateway Appliance. Push deployments aren't possible through a Gateway Appliance. I can only distribute software as a policy or as a custom vulnerability.
How can I send the "Update to Agent Settings" to my clients as a policy?
