I have just completed a side by side server migration from 2003 server/SQL 2005 to 2008 server/SQL 2008
Using the migration wizard I have imported all the settings and all the config tot he new server and it seemed to all go ok
Inventory and deployment is all working ok..
I have diverted DNS to the new server and the machines are calling home and we can use the remote control function etc
I have come across the following problems:
I created a new agent with all the new settings and want to create a self contained client installation package
When I try it gives an error saying – The packages background creating process failed
When I try and deploy a previous agent I get – Failed to build the agent installation package (return code 18945)
