Doing a side-by-side upgrade from 9.0 SP3 to 9.6. We have a few DMZ machines, and have likewise created a DMZ agent (partily for ease of query searching, very standard). It reported fine in 9.0, but with this new agent we receive "Verifying device ID with core (name) .... retrying" a few times for a manual security scan. Inventory scan just opens and closes, no real work done. And, of course, it's not displaying in the core.
I can't think the ports have changed that much from one version to another. Is there something I'm missing here?
