I've noticed this in SP2A and now am seeing it in SP3 as well. I am then having to use SYSINTERNALS PSKILL to kill the Advance Agent service on the client, as it is a register in our retail stores and this is the least intrusive way to kill the service.
I can then delete the file from the file.
The machines affected appear to already have a a Base agent on them, but this shouldn't affect a new Advance Agent.
I'm at a loss as to why, or even how, this file can exceed the size of the file on the Core. Any one have any ideas?
