Remove Landesk before sysprep?

I'm deploying a number of VMs using VMware View automatic provisioning. I'd like to have the Landesk agent installed on those VMs.My understanding is that images should not have the Landesk agent installed. I have a couple of questions about that.

1. Is this right, or is there a way to have an image with Landesk pre-installed?

2. If it should be installed later, what's a good automatic way to do this? View does allow for sysprep customization, but the runonce that is provided is in the user mode, so I've got VMs that get created, then the user logs in and it sits there for 10-15 minutes while LD installs. I'm thinking of hardcoding it into the system level registry in runonce.

I'd like to use Landesk to install a fairly complicated software package on the image before I package it up.

3. Is this inadviseable?

4. Does simply running the uninstallwinagent.exe get rid of enough stuff that it's safe to run sysprep after running that? Or are there reg keys, etc, that I will need to remove as well?
