Invalid hash file when deploying agent

I am deploying our LANDesk agent using Advance Agent deployment. We have been using this method successfully for a couple of years now.

This week I have come across a problem - some of the agent deployments are failing. I have two identical PCs side by side on our bench - both with exactly the same image on them. When deploying the advance agent to them, one completes succesfully, the other never completes. On the LANDesk console the PC is just sitting in the unmanaged client deployments folder. On the PC itself, I have a LANDesk\LDClient folder, but with only two files in it - AdvanceAgent and fwregister text files. I've attached them. The AdvanceAgent log file from the Windows\Temp folder is also attached. it has a line in that says:

Invalid file Hash. Uninstalling...

What does this mean, and why is it happening on some machines and not others - despite all new machines being identical and using the same agent install?

We're running LDMS v8.8 SP2
