Couple of uqestions about the differnt scan options withen UDD (LDMS 9.0 shot).
So a few weeks ago we realized that we had some holes in our LDMS coverage, I jumped into the UDD tool to try and pick out the stragglers. Not wanting to get too fancy i just threw in IP ranges for our different offices, the problem is it a) takes forever to complete b) returns resultes for devices I dont really care about... Printers / Macs / ets.. is there a way to exlcude these from the scan before running?
Next try, I thought i'd be a bit smarter and scan using LDAP, pointing it at our systems OU's. Well, that would have worked except for the fact that we dont keep those OU's current. The scan returned over two thousand results, which is great considering we only have about 700 users. I guess this is less of a Landesk question and more of an AD question.. but is there a way to filter those reults down by login date or some other userful constraint?
